The Last CP30 Trip : Samed Island

Before everybody would go on their own life, this was the last memory of happiness together with all of my friends, CP30. Our destination was Koh Samed or the Samed Island.

Samed Island

Day 1 :: March 25, 2007

We left the bus terminal in the late morning. Our first target was Tar Pae (ท่าแพ) at Rayong, where we would then board a ship to the Samed Island. It had already passed noon when we arrived at Tar Pae. So, we gathered our energy here while waiting for the ship.

After almost an hour of swaying in the sea, we finally arrived at Wong Duan Bay (อ่าววงเดือน), where our resort Wong Duan Villa was located. Wow! Frankly, this is the first time for me to an island!! The sea's color was gorgeous, and the golden sand was beautifully glittering in the sunlight. Luckily, this beach was not so crowded. We changed our clothes and jumped in the sea not long after checking in.

We became starving after the sun set. Tonight, some friends and I had a dinner at our resort. It's seafood!!
Along the beach, there're many pubs and restaurants with steaks and barbecues. However, the food here was undoubtedly ridiculously expensive ><

Day 2 :: March 26, 2007

Although the weather here was hot like hell, I still wanted to explore the island a little further. Some of my friends and I went to Lung Dum Bay (อ่าวลุงดำ) next to our bay. Here there was a famous spot which is a bridge pointing toward the sea. You must have already seen it in commercials or tv for sure. There a lot of small fish swimming underneath it... so beautiful. I wish I had jumped from this bridge once ~~

Another group of my friends leading by Rapee rented some bikes and rode to explore around the island. Unfortunately, Rapee had an accident because the road was too rocky and rough. Luckily, there's no serious injury otherwise he might miss his flight to Japan ><

At dusk, we rented some kayaks and rowed them under the twilight sun. And, tonight it's time for our barbecue party!! :D

Day 3 :: March 27, 2007

It's time to say goodbye to our paradise. Oh, Sun was still reading his book till the last day 555. Unfortunately, a lot of my close friends missed a chance to come to this trip. Hope we can have a trip together someday...
